Quote "I'm a real boy!" (Original movie).

Pinocchio is a fictional Walt Disney character from the 1940 animated film of the same name. Created by Geppetto and brought to life by a Blue Fairy, he is a living puppet who must prove himself to be brave, truthful and selfish in order to become a real, human boy.

Personality

Pinocchio is a very coy, innocent, good-hearted puppet with a taste for adventure and doing the right things, but he has a confusion of what is good and bad, which leads him into falling in with the wrong crowd when he is tempted easily. This problem often gets him into trouble, and he tries to do whatever he can to get out of scrapes.

Nonetheless, Pinocchio cares deeply for his friends and sticks to them like glue.

First Appearance, 1940

In the original film, Pinocchio's story is told by his conscience, Jiminy Cricket. After Geppetto wishes that Pinocchio becomes a real boy, the Blue Fairy comes and grants the inanimate Pinocchio the gift of life. On his way to school for the first time, the young puppet is lead astray by the con artist, Honest John, a fox, and Gideon, his cat sidekick. Pinocchio gradually learns from his past mistakes throughout the movie, and that is put to the test when he must save his father from Monstro the Whale.

Talents, Hobbies and Experiences

Pinocchio has the ability to twist his body or his legs while dancing. Whenever he tells a lie, his nose grows, and he does this if he tries to find a quick solution to get out of trouble.
